No two of my hikes are alike. Last week I hiked the Change Creek Trail near North Bend. The trail is a cross between a hike and a scramble depending on conditions. The trail is more of an exploration than a hike as it climbs to views of Mount Washington, the Hall Creek and Change Creek drainages. This trail is not for beginning hikers - it is for those with a sense of adventure and route-finding skills. If you really want to find this particular trail be prepared to do some research beforehand. The rest is up to you.

We recently walked through the Arborteum in a desperate search for spring color. As much as we enjoy winter we do get weary of what we call "brown hikes" this time of year.
We found plenty of color in the Winter Garden.

My index of hikes page is still under construction, so stay tuned!!
